Meet Dr. Baquero
Dr. Doly Baquero (Dr. Doly) is the proud owner of The Falls Animal Clinic and has spent her career building a veterinary practice focused on compassionate patient and client care. She enjoys forming bonds with her new and existing clients and patients. Dr. Doly Baquero graduated with her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine in 1997 from the University of Llanos in Colombia where she practiced large animal medicine before moving to the Sunshine State of Florida. Dr. Baquero has 25 years of experience in small animal medicine and surgery but is especially fond of internal medicine. She is a USDA accredited Veterinarian and also a member of the SFVMA and the AVMA.
Dr. Baquero has always felt a calling to help animals, “It is a great blessing in my life to be a veterinarian. Not only do I get to do something I immensely enjoy but there is great satisfaction in making a real difference everyday not only saving lives but helping pets live a longer and happier life. I am often amazed by the resilience and determination of animals in the face of severe injury and illness. Many animals have remarkable healing abilities that continue to inspire me.” Since veterinary medicine is constantly evolving Dr. Baquero enjoys attending seminars, lectures and learning new skills, tools, and treatments.
In her free time, Dr. Baquero enjoys fishing, photography and spending time with her family and two rescue dogs Yin (a poodle mix) and Dallas (a frenchie mix ).
